The Southeastern Region HealthWatch Coalition is affiliated with Community Advocates, Inc. and the
Southeastern Region CSHCN Center located at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
The Southeastern Region’s HealthWatch Coalition has identified itself as Children’s Health Access
for the Special and Equal (CHASE). Members of CHASE began their monthly meetings in winter 2003 and
are continuing to recruit and develop their membership base. The Coalition is dedicated to providing
advocacy and educational outreach related to children with special health needs to parents, providers,
legislators, and the public. In addition, the Coalition regularly has trainings and presentations for
its members on a variety of topics related to health care access and coverage for children with special health needs.
